Prof. Scott is Associate Research Professor of Water Resources and Policy at the University of Arizona. His work focuses on the policy dimensions of climate change and urban growth with particular emphasis on groundwater, urban wastewater and water reuse, the water-energy nexus, transboundary water resources, and climate adaptation. He holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in hydrology from Cornell University (USA). He has over a decade of water resources experience with the International Water Management Institute living and working in India and Mexico, in addition to two years in Honduras and two years in India with nongovernmental organizations. He speaks fluent Spanish and Hindi, and working Portuguese, Nepali, Urdu, and German.
